The school's green hawks club collaborated with other international schools such as Concordian, Berkely and Harrow to organise a beach clean up. The beach clean up took place on November 10th, 2019 at Bangsaen Beach. We were given a big garbage bag and gloves for us to collect trash. There were a lot of tiny pieces of trash such as bottle caps, straws, plastic etc.. It was quite tiring but I felt good knowing I'm helping the environment. It was a challenge because we had to find tiny pieces of garbage in a really hot weather and we were also barefoot. At the end, everyone compiled all the trash they collected and it turned out to be a lot. This experience taught me that every small piece of trash can affect marine animals.
