Due to the current global pandemic of COVID 19, Thailand and many other countries are suffering economically, specially the less fortunate people or people that get paid daily and do not have a fixed salary. Some people don't have enough money to eat. My family and family friends decided to donate food and snacks to 300 people on 9th May and 16th May. On 9th May we donated 300 boxes of home made kraphao kai khai dao (basil fried rice with egg), milk, water, instant noodles and canned fish. On 16th May we donated 1 kg of rice each, 450 boxes of home made kraphao kai khai dao, small cakes, juice, milk, and water to 450 people. Each person would get one each. Everyone had a job such as cooking, packing etc.. Each person was responsible for handing out one thing. We all stood in a line and there were 500 people wating in line for the food and snacks. I felt really grateful while I was giving out the food and the snacks as I saw how people are suffering to even eat food. Seeing the smiles on their faces made me feel like I did a really good job.
